I have been Scripture journaling since 2003. Imperfect creature that I am, I have been quite sporadic in this endeavor – much to my detriment. I start off strong and then get distracted or, quite often, lazy. This has been my pattern. I’ve posted when I felt led to do so and brave enough to follow through. I’ve begun a blog a number of times, but allowed myself to become overwhelmed with all of the options and details of the endeavor and never followed through. Until now. Why now? A few reasons, but only one that really matters. A message I received when I was journaling a little over a week ago. A message that I choose not to ignore. Here is what I was told: “Stop being afraid of the gift I have given you. Stop ignoring it. Stop thinking you don’t know how to share it. Just do it. Or I will take it away.” So here I am. Obedient. And it only took 18 years to align myself with His plan!
