2 Kings 21:1-6 “Manasseh was twelve years old when he became king, and he reigned in Jerusalem fifty-five years. His mother’s name was Hephzibah. He did evil in the eyes of the Lord, following the detestable practices of the nations the Lord had driven out before the Israelites. He rebuilt the high places his father Hezekiah had destroyed; he also erected altars to Baal and made an Asherah pole, as Ahab king of Israel had done. He bowed down to all the starry hosts and worshiped them. He built altars in the temple of the Lord, of which the Lord had said, ‘In Jerusalem I will put my Name.’ In the two courts of the temple of the Lord, he built altars to all the starry hosts. He sacrificed his own son in the fire, practiced divination, sought omens, and consulted mediums and spiritists. He did much evil in the eyes of the Lord, arousing his anger.”
Manasseh also caused his people to commit egregious sin. You see this happening today in the influence held over so many of the people of this country. They blindly follow the “famous,” the “rich,” the “wise” (worldly), the “progressive,” the “tolerant,” the “humanitarian,” the “anti-fascist” – all those who pervert truth, bend reality, rewrite history – all those who are leading my people in this country astray. You were once a people of faith, vision and morals. You were a people of integrity. You were a shining light to the world as to how to create and maintain a country that truly represented the people. But, evil has been slipping in for many many years. And as I have warned, your enemy has presented himself as an angel of light. All the perversity that is promoted and legislated these days is based on kernels of truth. Wisdom is good – but wisdom based on anything but God’s Word is not. It is good to work hard and create the means to sustain oneself and family. Hoarding wealth and using it for evil is not. There is nothing wrong with being well known for the right reasons – being a strong, ethical leader, creating beauty, etc. Being famous for committing evil acts or using fame to promote evil, that is what you have today. Being tolerant of your differences is good, tolerating wrong and evil behavior is not. Today’s humanitarians ignore the greater good, ignore truth and push an agenda which, though it looks to be helping people, is really about helping those in power remain there. Never forget that Satan is the father of lies. Do not blindly follow anyone or any cause. Be a Berean. Investigate. Look for truth. Pray and seek wisdom in the Word. And work hard to show those around you that they are blind, that they have been led astray, that what they believe to be right and good is not either of those. Your country and ultimately your world is on the line. Stand for truth. Stand for Me. Do not be dismayed to the point of giving up. Remember the history of my people Israel. They obeyed. They strayed. They returned to Me. They obeyed. They strayed. They returned to Me. I always received them back. (2021)
