Psalm 34:14-16
“Turn away from evil and do good;
seek peace and pursue it.
The eyes of the Lord are toward the righteous
and his ears toward their cry.
The face of the Lord is against those who do evil,
to cut off the memory of them from the earth.”
Be careful in the coming days. It would be easy to become judgmental, spiteful, vengeful. That is never what I want. Will I hold everyone accountable for what they have done? Yes. Will I allow them to suffer the consequences of choosing evil and destruction? Yes. But it is not what I ultimately wanted for them. I wanted them to believe, to follow me. I grieve over the lost. So remember, it is mine to seek revenge. It is mine to condemn. It is mine to discipline. Keep praying for truth, love, life, me. Pray against the force of evil, not the lost human beings who have been blinded by it. (2021)
