Revelation 13:5-8 “Then the beast was allowed to speak great blasphemies against God. And he was given authority to do whatever he wanted for forty-two months. And he spoke terrible words of blasphemy against God, slandering his name and his temple — that is, those who live in heaven. And the beast was allowed to wage war against God’s holy people and to conquer them. And he was given authority to rule over every tribe and people and nation. And all the people who belong to this world worshiped the beast. They are the ones whose names were not written in the Book of Life before the world was made — the Book that belongs to the Lamb who was slaughtered.”
You wonder why I allow the evil that is taking over your world. You wonder why I allow my children to be persecuted and abused. You wonder why I allow my Name to be blasphemed, why I allow such unspeakable effrontery as a Baphomet “nativity” set up next to the real Nativity in Illinois. Why I allow my representatives to thwart, to twist my Word and lead my children astray. Why do I not stop it all now? My child, it is true that you do not understand me. It is true that I allow things to happen that grieve your heart and soul and that make your head hurt. But, trust me. Always trust me. I will work it all for good. Nothing surprises me. Nothing happens that I do not know beforehand. And none of this will be allowed to go past a point that I have determined and set. Trust me. Rest. Relax. Seek my face. It will all come together and make sense one day. Just not today.
