Remember Who I Am

Isaiah 43:18-19 “But forget all that – It is nothing compared to what I am going to do. For I am about to do something new. See, I have already begun! Do you not see it? I will make a pathway through the wilderness. I will create rivers in the dry wasteland.”

What you read about me doing for the Israelites – the destruction of Egypt – that pales in comparison with what I have planned for my children today. Do not be dismayed. Do not lose faith. Do not give in to the fear and confusion. Do not give in to the desires and demands of your enemy. They will be defeated. They will flee from me. I will defend you. But, you have work to do in the meantime. Stay close. Do my will, not your own and not your enemy’s. Be my ambassadors.

44:6-8 This is what the Lord says – Israel’s King and Redeemer, the Lord of Heaven’s Armies: “I am the First and the Last; there is no other God. Who is like me? Let him step forward and prove to you his power. Let him do as I have done since ancient times when I established a people and explained its future. Do not tremble; do not be afraid. Did I not proclaim my purposes for you long ago? You are my witnesses – is there any other God? No! There is no other Rock – not one!”

Never forget that in these times of battle. Your enemy is strong. Your enemy is wily and intelligent. Your enemy appears to be untouchable. Remember me. Remember who I am. Remember what I have done and will do again. Do not be distracted from the Truth.
