Delusions

Matthew 27:15-21. Now it was the governor’s custom each year during the Passover celebration to release one prisoner to the crowd- anyone they wanted. This year there was a notorious prisoner, a man named Barabbas. As the crowds gathered before Pilate’s house that morning, he asked them, “Which one do you want me to release to you- Barabbas, or Jesus who is called the Messiah?” (He knew very well that the religious leaders had arrested Jesus out of envy.) ….. Meanwhile the leading priests and the elders persuaded the crowd to ask for Barabbas to be released and for Jesus to be put to death. So the governor asked again, “Which of these two do you want me to release to you?” The crowd shouted back, “Barabbas!”

They knew that Barabbas was a murderer. They had also been listening to Jesus, had seen his miraculous healings. Yet, they were deluded into asking that Barabbas be released and Jesus crucified. Do you not see that the blindness all around you is nothing new? Do you not recognize this as an age-old tactic of your enemy? Religious “leaders” lie to the people. They prey on their fear and emotional instability. They push them to make impulsive decisions. And the people – weakened by constant pressure and manipulated by the lies of the enemy – make the wrong decisions. Yet believe in their heart of hearts that they are correct. That you – my children – my followers – are wrong. Are misled. Are evil. And even when they get an inkling of truth – it is so uncomfortable that they are not able to recognize and accept it. They double down on their delusions in order not to feel the discomfort of being wrong, of being manipulated. They are unwilling to admit any of it. That is what you will be seeing. Truth is being revealed. Canada is waking up. Many other nations are waking up and fighting back. But, your Nation will be the weakest link. Your people are so deluded, have been off track for so long, are so dug into their false teaching and beliefs, that though they see truth right in front of them, they will choose not to believe it. They will stick to their false narratives and fight back even harder. It will not be a pretty time in your history, and it will become very difficult for you, my children.

Psalm 33:18-22 But the Lord watches over those who fear him, those who rely on his unfailing love. He rescues them from death and keeps them alive in times of famine. We put our hope in the Lord. He is our help and shield. In him our hearts rejoice, for we trust in his holy name. Let your unfailing love surround us, Lord, for our hope is in you alone. (2022)
