Psalm 118:5-9 In my distress I prayed to the Lord, and the Lord answered me and set me free. The Lord is for me, so I will have no fear. What can mere people do to me? Yes, the Lord is for me; He will help me. I will look in triumph at those who hate me. It is better to take refuge in the Lord than to trust in people. It is better to take refuge in the Lord than to trust in princes.
Stay the course. You understand. It is I who will save. It is I who cures. It is I who protects. Stay close, it will worsen. Stay close, you will be further reviled. Continue to listen to my voice and follow my direction. Stay close, child and look only to me. Trust nothing or no one else. Your enemy is strong and advancing. But that is only temporary, and he knows it. His time is coming to an end and he is desperate to take as many of my children away from me as he can. Do not weaken. Find your strength in me. Find your courage in me. I will be inside you, around you, in front leading you, beside holding you up, behind protecting you. Have no fear this battle is mine. But, go forth as I lead.
