John 6:28-31Then they said to him, “What must we do, to be doing the works of God?” Jesus answered them, “This is the work of God, that you believe in him whom he has sent.” So they said to him, “Then what sign do you do, that we may see and believe you? What work do you perform? Our fathers ate the manna in the wilderness; as it is written, ‘He gave them bread from heaven to eat.’”
You dismay that so many do not believe in me. But, these people had me walking among them. They knew me. They heard me speak. They saw me do miraculous works and healings. Yet, they – even they – did not believe. They asked for yet more miracles in order to believe. You, you have not seen me. You were not with me as I walked your earth. You have not literally heard me speak nor seen me physically. Yet, you believe. That faith is what I seek. That faith is what keeps you safe and strong and able to deal with what is happening today. That faith is what I cherish. You are not alone. I am with you and there are many around you who share that faith in me and the Father. Keep seeking them. Keep working with them. Do not be dismayed. My remnant is strong in faith and is growing. (2021)
