Mark 10:42-44 So Jesus called them together and said, “You know that the rulers in this world lord it over their people, and officials flaunt their authority over those under them. But among you it will be different. Whoever wants to be a leader among you must be your servant, and whoever wants to be first among you must be the slave of everyone else. For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve others and to give his life as a ransom for many.”
Your world is filled with examples of the rulers lording their authority over their people. Look at Canada, Australia, even your Nation. Your elected leaders – those who swear an oath to serve their electorate, who swear an oath to protect their citizens and their nations – they do not understand, they reject the principle of servant leadership. Yet, that is the example I have given you. I came to serve my people, not to be served by them. I came to demonstrate the sacrifice necessary to be a real leader. I came to demonstrate that being a servant for the Father is better than being a “leader.” You live in an upside down world. You are told good is bad, bad is good, truth is lies, lies are truth, honor is dishonor and dishonor is honor. So many of you believe the lies. I show you the true nature of the upside down world in which I wish you to live: leaders that are actually the servants to others. Leaders that live as slaves to the needs of those around them. And that world – the only upside down world that is of any lasting value – is the one you reject. I have demonstrated what the Father requires of His children. (2022)
