Stand Strong in Your Faith

John 2:11, 22-25 This miraculous sign at Cana in Galilee was the first time Jesus revealed his glory. And his disciples believed in him.   (22-25)  After he was raised from the dead, his disciples remembered he had said this, and they believed both the Scriptures and what Jesus had said. Because of the miraculous signs Jesus did in Jerusalem at the Passover celebration, many began to trust in him. But Jesus didn’t trust them, because he knew human nature. No one needed to tell him what mankind is really like.

My child, you see over and over again that my disciples – those who literally walked by my side, talked to me face to face, were able to touch me physically – my disciples only came to believe who I am by seeing my miracles. They would see a miracle and believe in me. Then time would go by and their faith would wane. Or seemingly unmanageable problems would arise and they would forget my power and abilities. Until I performed yet another miracle. Back and forth, back and forth – strong faith, weak faith – until the day of my ascension. Yet here you are. You do not see me physically. You have not been face to face with me. You have not had literal physical conversations with me. Yet you believe. Yet you trust me. Does your faith and trust wax and wane? Yes. But less and less as time passes – as you spend time by my side. But you have not lost faith since the day I revealed myself to you. I love you. I am proud of you. And I will always and forever reward your faith in me. A faith based not on what you can see and hear and touch, but a faith you choose over unbelief. Stand strong in that faith. Your enemy would rip it from you … or slowly chip away at it until it is weak. Choose faith. Choose trust. Choose faithfulness. (2022)

Psalm 103:1 LET ALL THAT I AM PRAISE THE LORD; WITH MY WHOLE HEART, I WILL PRAISE HIS HOLY NAME.

Focus. Gratitude. Acknowledge who I am. Remember what I have done. Exalt in all that I continue to do in your life.
