Look to My Love

1 Samuel 22:1-4  David departed from there and escaped to the cave of Adullam. And when his brothers and all his father’s house heard it, they went down there to him. And everyone who was in distress, and everyone who was in debt, and everyone who was bitter in soul, gathered to him. And he became commander over them. And there were with him about four hundred men. And David went from there to Mizpeh of Moab. And he said to the king of Moab, “Please let my father and my mother stay with you, till I know what God will do for me.” And he left them with the king of Moab, and they stayed with him all the time that David was in the stronghold.

Have I not saved you from your enemies in the past? Why would I not do so now? Your enemy works hard to derail you. He works hard to disrupt you from within. You are still my valuable child. You are still loved and precious to me. Stay close. Stop listening to the lies and listen only to me. Are you perfect? no. Are you flawed? yes. Do you need to change some parts of yourself and your life? yes. That will be true until you come home to me. Just look to me. Look to my love. Stop looking at yourself and listening to your enemy. (2021)

I love the Lord. I love my Country. I read His Word and write any message I may receive. These posts are those messages, which I obediently publish here. Many of these messages speak directly to our current political and social conditions. I pray that these words will speak to you as they have to me - admonishing, encouraging, guiding, informing, strengthening your faith.
