Jeremiah 39:2 Two and a half years later, on July 18 in the eleventh year of Zedekiah’s reign, the Babylonians broke through the wall, and the city fell.

It took two years for Babylon to break through the walls of Jerusalem. Two years of war. Two years of the people of Jerusalem being shut up in the city, afraid that their walls would crumble and their enemies would succeed. That is what you are only beginning to see in your world. The war has begun. It is not yet in full swing. It will get uglier, more violent, more evil. But, I am your walls. I am surrounding you and protecting you. Draw close. Get rid of any and everything that would stand in the way of my presence in your life. It is crucial that you be free of any and everything that hinders your relationship with me. Your enemy will take advantage of all chinks in your armor. No time to waste, Child.

Jeremiah 31:29-30. “The people will no longer quote this proverb: ‘The parents have eaten sour grapes, but their children’s mouths pucker at the taste.’ All the people will die for their own sins – those who eat the sour grapes will be the ones whose mouths will pucker.”

There will be difficult times. It has already begun. There is much that is happening now and will continue that will cause harm, sadness, injury, even physical death – both to my children and those who choose to live outside my protection. Much that is here now and to come is due to the sins of others, but all will suffer the earthly consequences. This promise, however, stands true. The death spoken of is that which matters – the death of the soul. The second death – the death of the spirit. Your life – and death – on the earthly plane is not what is spoken of here. It is your eternal life – and the death that will occur to those who reject me, who choose lives of sin and dedication to your enemy. Those will suffer the second death. I tell you this to remind you that, through all that is occurring in your life on earth that is difficult, painful, often unfair – it is not what truly matters and it will end. It is not forever. It is but for a time – until you come home to me – where you will live eternally – away from all that is evil. Eyes on me. I will see you through.

Isaiah 1:21-23 See how Jerusalem, once so faithful, has become a prostitute. Once the home of justice and righteousness, she is now filled with murderers. Once like pure silver, you have become like worthless slag. Once so pure, you are now like watered-down wine. Your leaders are rebels, the companions of thieves. All of them love bribes and demand payoffs, but they refuse to defend the cause of orphans or fight for the rights of widows. 

This is your Nation. Replace “Jerusalem” with “the USA” and you will understand how I see you. What will you do? Will you fight to restore your Nation to a right relationship with me? Will you enter into battle to remove the evildoers that run your government and many of its agencies? Will you put on my armor and fight daily? Or will you sit back and wait to be saved? I tell you the truth, this battle is yours. There is no one person to jump in and save you. This is your fight. This is your future. These are your lives. This is your Nation. Your salvation was a once for all deed accomplished over 2000 years ago. Your eternal lives are guaranteed. It is up to you to determine the course of your temporal lives on earth. What will you do? It is in those choices I will see your true hearts.

Isaiah 65:1-3, 5, 17  The Lord says, “I was ready to respond, but no one asked for help. I was ready to be found, but no one was looking for me. I said, ‘Here I am, here I am!’ to a nation that did not call on my name.  All day long I opened my arms to a rebellious people. But they followed their own evil paths and their own crooked schemes. All day long they insult me to my face by worshiping idols in their sacred gardens… These people are a stench in my nostrils, an acrid smell that never goes away….. For when I called, you did not answer. When I spoke, you did not listen. You deliberately sinned – before my very eyes – and chose to do what you know I despise.”

And so your Nation. I have been here all along. I have been willing to help you. I have been waiting for your people to seek me. I have been patiently waiting – as a good father will – to intervene and save my children. Yet, you do not ask. You seek to remain in your sin. You seek other gods. You seek pleasure. You do not seek me. Therefore, I allow you to experience all that you seek, all of its pain and emptiness and horror. You are a duplicitous people – so arrogant in your certainty that you are good. So blind to your own sin. So quick to judge others. Yet, it is you who are the stench in my nostrils. I expect those who do not know me, who do not believe in me – I expect them to sin. Yet you, you who claim to believe in me, you who purport to follow me – it is you that I reject. It is you that is a stench in my nostrils. It is you that I will completely abandon if you do not change course soon. Repent.

Isaiah 47:10-11 “You felt secure in your wickedness. ‘No one sees me,’ you said. But your ‘wisdom’ and ‘knowledge’ have led you astray, and you said, ‘I am the only one, and there is no other.’ So disaster will overtake you, and you won’t be able to charm it away. Calamity will fall upon you, and you won’t be able to buy your way out. A catastrophe will strike you suddenly, one for which you are not prepared.” 

And so is what is coming. This is what will befall your world soon. This is what awaits those who reject me, who abuse my children, who practice wickedness and evil. They have convinced themselves that I am a myth, that I do not exist or, if I do exist, that I am powerless over them. The truth is soon to come upon them, and it will not be pretty. My Truth will quash their lies and evil. My Truth will be unavoidable, incontrovertible. They will be crushed under my judgment, more so than they have managed to crush my children in this life. What they have done to my innocents will be paid back to them tenfold. All that they believe and rely upon will be powerless and empty. 

Jeremiah 6:6-8 This is what the Lord of Heaven’s Armies says: “Cut down the trees for battering rams. Build siege ramps agains the walls of Jerusalem. This is the city to be punished, for she is wicked through and through. She spouts evil like a fountain. Her streets echo with the sounds of violence and destruction. I always see her sickness and sores. Listen to this warning, Jerusalem, or I will turn from you in disgust. Listen, or I will turn you into a heap of ruins, a land where no one lives.”

And so I say to you, America. You were a chosen Nation. Yet, you have turned against me. You choose sin over obedience. You choose violence over peace. You choose ignorance over knowledge. So, I will reject you. I will leave you open and vulnerable to your enemies. You will be destroyed. Even the remnant will be affected. Repent while you still may. Time is running short.

Ezekiel 16:14-15 “I dressed you in my splendor and perfected your beauty,” says the Sovereign Lord. “But you thought your fame and beauty were your own.”

This is man’s greatest downfall. The idea that all that he is, all that he knows, all that he is capable of doing – that all of it is his own doing. That he is equal to me, or worse yet, that he is better than I, more knowledgeable than I, more capable than I. Do you not recall? Do you not know history? This is how your enemy lost his place in Heaven – attempting equality to me. How little you actually know. How unwise you actually are. 

Ezekiel 16:48-52 As surely as I live, says the Sovereign Lord, Sodom and her daughters were never as wicked as you and your daughters. Sodom’s sins were pride, gluttony, and laziness, while the poor and needy suffered outside her door. She was proud and committed detestable sins, so I wiped her out, as you have seen.  Even Samaria did not commit half your sins. You have done far more detestable things than your sisters ever did. They seem righteous compared to you. Shame on you! Your sins are so terrible that you make your sisters seem righteous, even virtuous.

This is your world today. The depth of evil that you have embraced is staggering. For it is not only that you sin egregiously, but that you are training your children to sin as well.  You are normalizing evil behavior and training them to act against my commands. You are perverting my creation – you are changing the bodies that I created, you are teaching your children that I make mistakes when I form them in your wombs. Even more, you don’t even allow the children that you bring into being by your promiscuity to live. You take their lives before they are born so as to make your lives more convenient. You allow “scientists and doctors” to tell you that the child I am forming in your womb is not worth allowing to live. What do they know? Did they create that child? Did they assign the child’s DNA? You arrogant, selfish, evil creatures. This is one of your greatest sins. Yet there is so much more. You allow children to be snatched up and abused and killed. You allow the elderly to be alone and unable to care for themselves. You abandon your parents when it becomes difficult and inconvenient to care for them. Your sins are so ingrained, so “normal”, so accepted that you no longer see them as sin. You see them as self-expression, you see them as “living your best lives”, you see them as “being your true self”.  You give these actions so many pretty names and assign them such noble explanations – yet they are nothing more than sin. Egregious behavior. Blatant evil that you have been trained up to believe is acceptable. Repent. See the truth. Stop allowing the lies to penetrate and take over your thoughts and actions. I will not allow this forever. 

Ezekiel 16:16-19  “You used the lovely things I gave you to make shrines for idols, where you played the prostitute. Unbelievable! How could such a thing ever happen? You took the very jewels and gold and silver ornaments I had given you and made statues of men and worshiped them. This is adultery against me! You used the beautifully embroidered clothes I gave you to dress your idols. Then you used my special oil and my incense to worship them. Imagine it! You set before them as a sacrifice the choice flour, olive oil, and honey I had given you,” says the Sovereign Lord. 

Do you not see. Have you not eyes? When you use anything I have gifted you to worship anything but me, this is idolatry. Are you using the gifts I give wisely? Do you spend too much money on unnecessary items? Do you spend too much time on wasteful activities? Do you mistreat your body? Do you take care of the things I give you? Any time you are wasting any of my gifts on anything other than Kingdom activities, you are worshiping idols. How much money do you waste? How much time do you throw away on social media, tv, etc.? How much care do you take with gifts I give – your homes, your land, your cars? Do you hoard items or do you share? Everything you do has spiritual aspects. Every decision is a spiritual decision. Every moment of your life is given but once. How do you spend those moments? Reflect upon this. Your world is about to implode. Are you ready? Really ready? Prepare. Physically. Mentally. Emotionally. Spiritually. Be ready for hardship like you have never known. I will walk you through it, but you must be preparing for it. You are in a war. The battle has just begun and is heating up. Can you soldier through? It is up to you to decide this and to make yourself battle-ready.
