Isaiah 59:1-15  Listen! The Lord’s arm is not too weak to save you, nor is his ear too deaf to hear you call. It’s your sins that have cut you off from God. Because of your sins, he has turned away and will not listen anymore. Your hands are the hands of murderers, and your fingers are filthy with sin. Your lips are full of lies, and your mouth spews corruption. No one cares about being fair and honest. The people’s lawsuits are based on lies. They conceive evil deeds and then give birth to sin. They hatch deadly snakes and weave spiders’ webs. Whoever falls into their webs will die, and there’s danger even in getting near them. Their webs can’t be made into clothing, and nothing they do is productive. All their activity is filled with sin, and violence is their trademark. Their feet run to do evil, and they rush to commit murder. They think only about sinning. Misery and destruction always follow them. They don’t know where to find peace or what it means to be just and good. They have mapped out crooked roads, and no one who follows them knows a moment’s peace. So there is no justice among us, and we know nothing about right living. We look for light but find only darkness. We look for bright skies but walk in gloom. We grope like the blind along a wall, feeling our way like people without eyes. Even at brightest noontime, we stumble as though it were dark. Among the living we are like the dead. We growl like hungry bears; we moan like mournful doves. We look for justice, but it never comes. We look for rescue, but is is far away from us. For our sins are piled up before God and testify against us. Yes, we know what sinners we are. We know we have rebelled and have denied the Lord. We have turned our backs on our God. We know how unfair and oppressive we have been, carefully planning our deceitful lies. Our courts oppose the righteous, and justice is nowhere to be found. Truth stumbles in the streets, and honesty has been outlawed. Yes, truth is gone, and anyone who renounces evil is attacked. 

This is where you find yourselves today. You as a society have chosen this path. Many of you who believe in me have chosen to ignore what has been happening for a long time now. So, whether you actively participated in the orchestration of this evil, or were passive participants by not intervening and fighting it, here you are. Neck deep in it. Being controlled by it to one extent or another. What are you going to do? If you are waiting for someone to jump in and save your society, your Nation, your world – well then you will go down with it. This is your battle. Each and every one of you. Either fight to bring back righteousness, faith, morality, justice or stop complaining and slide down the slope to utter darkness. But, hear me: If you are going to complain about it then do something. I will help you. I will not jump in and fix it. That would be a useless gesture which you would not value and would, ultimately, throw away.

Isaiah 64:7 Yet no one calls on your name or pleads with you for mercy. Therefore, you have turned away from us and turned us over to our sins.

Look around. The truth of this is obvious.  What will you do about it? What will you do to get me to turn my face back toward you? For I will not do so while you are choosing your sin over me. I will not do so as long as your Nation is drowning in the evil that you choose. I will not do so as long as you choose a multitude of gods of your own making over me. It’s always a choice. Always. What will you choose?

Ephesians 6:10-13 A final word: Be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on all of God’s armor so that you will be able to stand firm against all strategies of the devil. For we are not fighting against flesh and blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places. Therefore, put on every piece of God’s armor so you will be able to resist the enemy in the time of evil. Then after the battle you will still be standing firm. 

How is this not obvious to you, my children? How can you not see the evil in all of this? So many times I hear you say you do not understand – you do not understand how people can do such horrible things, you do not understand how your government can make decisions that are obviously harming your country, you do not understand how people can be so blind, you do not understand so much of what is happening in your world today. Open your eyes and your mind to what is truly happening. This is a battle in the spiritual world manifesting in your world. This is the first battle that ever existed and will be the last battle that will happen before all is over – the battle for your souls. It is a battle for ultimate power. It is the battle that began when Satan wanted equality with me. It is the battle that will not end until I ultimately end him and his followers. And I will. When it is time. For now, the battle will rage around you and your focus is to be on me. Put on your armor, that is why I gave it to you. Eyes on your battle commander – me. Attention – constant attention to what is happening around you. Listen carefully for my voice in all of the noise. For this is the battle nearing its final stages. And it will just continue to escalate until it is ended. But, throughout, I will be with you. I will be leading you. I will not leave you nor forsake you, for I have promised and my promises are always kept. Onward, Christian soldier. You have been chosen for this time. Be ready. Be present. Be active. Be on guard. And always, always, always, be alert. 

Isaiah 50:7   Because the Sovereign Lord helps me, I will not be disgraced. Therefore, I have set my face like a stone, determined to do his will. And I know that I will not be put to shame.”

This is to be your attitude. This is how I would have you live. Rest in the knowledge that you are doing my will. Rest in the belief that you are pleasing me. Rest in your trust that I am by your side, and will continue to care for you. No man can put you to shame, you cannot be disgraced when you are in my will. No matter what others say.

Isaiah 48:17-19 This is what the Lord says – your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel: “I am the Lord your God, who teaches you what is good for you and leads you along the paths you should follow. Oh, that you had listened to my commands! Then you would have had peace flowing like a gentle river and righteousness rolling over you like waves in the sea. Your descendants would have been like the sands along the seashore – too many to count! There would have been no need for your destruction, or for cutting off your family name.”

Ah, children, when will you learn? When will you acknowledge me? Who I am? Who you are? When will you pay attention to what happens when you cut me out of your lives? When you cut me out of your government? When you cut me out of your culture? You are seeing the results in your world today. Evil abounds. Truth is lies and lies are truth. Everything is upside down. Some of you are awake and totally aware of what is happening. Others are coming to see. Many will not be able or will refuse to see. But, whether or not you are willing to acknowledge it, Truth exists. And here is that Truth: I am the Lord your God. I am Creator of all. I am He who put all into existence, all into order, all into perfect harmony. And you – you my creation – you created in my image – you are who lives in lies. You are who live out of harmony with me and my natural creations.  You are who want to take my place, do my job, act as if you are my equal. You are who want to shut me out of every aspect of your lives. If you think things aren’t working now, it will be exponentially worse if you don’t shift course soon. You believe things can’t get crazier? Can’t get more evil? You are wrong. This has just been gaining speed and force. There is much farther this can go. Whether it does or not is up to you. Remember, you have been gifted free will. Yes, I could take over, I could force you to do what’s right, I could force you to acknowledge me, obey me, “love” me. Yet, none of that would be worthy of either you or me. You are free spirits. You make your own choices. Then, either fortunately or unfortunately, you live with the consequences of those decisions – both in your private lives and in the public life of your nations, your world. I love you. I will honor whatever you decide. Choose wisely.

Isaiah 50:11. But watch out, you who live in your own light and warm yourselves by your own fires. This is the reward you will receive from me: You will soon fall down in great torment.

I am not blind. I am not deaf. I am not unaware. I have not gone away. I see all. I hear all. I am aware of all – even before it happens. And I am still here. I will judge, and those who have been living in defiance, there will be a price. 

Isaiah 46:5-7  “To whom will you compare me? Who is my equal? Some people pour out their silver and gold and hire a craftsman to make a god from it. Then they bow down and worship it! They carry it around on their shoulders, and when they set it down, it stays there. It can’t even move! And when someone prays to it, there is no answer. It can’t rescue anyone from trouble.”

Yet my children continue to worship these gods. Gods of their own creation. Money. Power. Fame. Sexual pleasure. Addictive drugs and activities. Love. Youth. Safety. Health. Shopping. Careers. Politics. So many gods in your lives. So many items and activities you bow down to, you serve. Yet, they do not help your lives in any lasting way. They just rob your lives of what is important: a relationship with me, integrity, trustworthiness, honesty, relationships with others – marriages, parenthood, friendships, familial bonds. And you turn a blind eye to the reality of your choices. What you consider richness is, in light of your eternal souls, poverty. Pray for eyes to see and hearts to understand. Pray that your world would wake up, that the veil would be torn from their eyes, that the truth of what they choose would be evident and impossible to ignore. Pray for wisdom, discernment, right thinking. Pray for repentance and salvation. 

Isaiah 45:24-25   The people will declare, “The Lord is the source of all my righteousness and strength.” And all who were angry with him will come to him and be ashamed. In the Lord all the generations of Israel will be justified, and in him they will boast.

This is the day you long for, I know. It will come, child, just not today. Your world will remain in darkness for a time, yet. But do not despair, as I have said, so it shall be. Just not today. 

Ephesians 4:1-6 Therefore I (Paul), a prisoner for serving the Lord, beg you to lead a life worthy of your calling, for you have been called by God. Always be humble and gentle. Be patient with each other, making allowance for each other’s faults because of your love. Make every effort to keep yourselves united in the Spirit, binding yourselves together with peace. For there is one body and one Spirit, just as you have been called to one glorious hope for the future. There is one Lord, one faith, one baptism, and one God and Father, who is over all and in all and living through all. 

This is your focus. Remain humble – live in the knowledge of who I am and who you are. Be forgiving and patient. Especially these right now. There are many who have mistreated you for your beliefs, for your ability to stand firm in those beliefs. They are beginning to see truth – some because of what is happening around them and far too many because of the consequences of the decisions they made. They do not need your judgment, your anger, your desire for revenge. Yes, they have harmed you. But in harming you, they were really seeking to harm me. Never forget that truth. You are in a spiritual battle, and instead of seeking to return the harm that was done to you, seek to rejoice in the fact that many are coming to salvation. Remember that all of you are fallible, all of you make mistakes, all of you sin, all of you hurt each other and all of you hurt me from time to time. So, do not stand in judgment. Do not put yourself on any sort of pedestal over those who have been believing the lies and acting upon those beliefs. They are suffering enough because of it all. Do not add to it. And if you are not able to be loving toward someone right away, take yourself away and pray for me to help you. They need my children to minister to them, no matter how badly they may have treated you. For once you were ministered to in your unbelief, perhaps by people that you had mistreated. Offer the same hope to them.

Isaiah 48:12-13 “Listen to me, O family of Jacob, Israel my chosen one! I alone am God, the First and the Last. It was my hand that laid the foundations of the earth, my right hand that spread out the heavens above. When I call out the stars, they all appear in order.”

You forget your place. You believe you can take my place. You play with things that you have no business touching. DNA is my creation, a gift of uniqueness, individuality for each of my children. MRNA is a building block of the bodies I created, and you have no business trying to change it. Why do you continue to try to “improve” or change what I have created? Is it not enough that I gave you miraculous bodies? That I created your brains in such a way as to allow independent, creative thoughts? Do you not realize that when you play with my creation – when you play scientist – you are interfering with the God of the Universe? Do you not realize that every time you meddle and delve into these areas you are defying me – even spitting in my face? Who are you to tell me that I have not created you perfectly? Who are you to tell me that what I have set in order – genetics, genders, life spans – all that I have created, is not perfect? Who are you to tell me the better way to do things? Is it conceit? Is it dissatisfaction? Is it trying to play god? You are treading on very dangerous ground. Get out of what is my business. Yes, I have given you knowledge, plants, food, procedures for curing illness. I have given you ways to keep healthy. But, I have not given you – nor will I ever give you – permission to change the building blocks of my creation – especially in regards to those made in my image. And never will I give you permission to kill my children – no matter what you call it. Hands off my children in the womb. Hands off the vulnerable. Hands of those who cannot fend for themselves. This evil will end, and those responsible will pay – the ultimate price.
