Amanuensis

John 7:27 “.But we know where this man is from; when the Messiah comes, no one will know where he is from.”” 

Do not listen to others. Look to me. Others have always believed they would know when I am coming. They always believed that they would recognize the signs. They interpret world events in a way that bolsters their claims. But, I have told you, only the Father knows. Yes, there is much unrest in your world. There are physical signs that match my Word. There are historical events that line up. But that is all you know. So do not count on my returning in any way other than knowing that one day, one unknown day, I will keep my promise and return. Live as if it will happen tomorrow, and as if it will not. Live in me and my word. Be prepared for my return at any moment. But do not stop living, do not stop preaching my Word, do not stop being a representative of me. The world needs my children loudly living their faith until that day arrives. Keep helping others prepare for that day.

Genesis 1:27. “So God created human beings in his own image. In the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.”  

Do not be deceived by the lies of your current culture. Nor should you back down, apologize or otherwise allow truth to be twisted. There are two genders, those that I have created. No more, no less. There are confused, misguided people who are not able to identify correctly with their gender of birth. That does not negate their gender. It only shows how this fallen world can affect anything and everything. 

Notice that when I created the earth, water, sky, land, animals and birds I found them all to be good. But when I created man, it was very good. I do not regret creating you. Even though you humans cannot remain faithful. Even though you are slaves to sin. Even though you reject me over and over. I still do not regret creating man. And I am still willing to save you. John 7:7 The world cannot hate you, but it hates me because I testify that its works are evil.

You are right when you say that many times you are disliked because you speak plainly against what is wrong. I have given you discernment. I have given you a gift. You are able to feel evil, to sense evil, it is plain to you when wrong is committed. And you are offended by evil, you want to demolish it. Pray and seek me. I will help you. I will help you use this gift in the way I planned. For it is useful and I wish to see you develop it. It will be done in solitude. So get things out of the way in order to be free to work on this. 1 Samuel 12:16 “Now stand here and see the great thing the Lord is about to do.”

Why do you spend your days in dismay? Why do you look around and see destruction beyond repair? Do you not remember who I am? Have you so easily forgotten all that I have done in your life? Stop looking around. Look up. I have not left you, nor have I left your Country. There is much I have yet to do. There is much you will see and rejoice. Stop looking to man, to what you can do. I will do it. I have given my Word and I will honor it. Breathe, child. Pray, and remain close. I am moving. Some of it you see now, some will be revealed soon. But I am moving and I have not forgotten.

Saul and his army were surrounded. Many had already run away and Saul’s army was sparse. They had no weaponry. But they always had the only real weapon that mattered, they had Me. But, when they were in their sin, I was not accessible. It is the same today. I am with you always. But if you are engaging in sinful thoughts or behaviors, I am not accessible. Choose. Me or your sin. (2020)

Ruth 2:12  “May the Lord, the God of Israel, under whose wings you have come to take refuge, reward you fully for what you have done.”  

I miss nothing. I stand by those who stand with me, who trust in me. Remaining under my wings does not mean staying still, it does not mean not speaking truth and spreading my Word. Just the opposite – those who stay in safety, who do nothing to promote my Kingdom, my Word, they do not need the shelter of my wings. It is those who step out, who are willing and courageous in going into battle when they know there are risks, those who will risk for me – it is they who need to shelter under my wings. My wings are not still. They move with you. (2021)

Matthew 13:31-32  “The Kingdom of Heaven is like a mustard seed planted in a field. It is the smallest of all seeds, but it becomes the largest of garden plants; it grows into a tree, and birds come and make nests in its branches.” 

You feel as though you are too small to make a difference, but you are a mustard seed. In my hands, you become a tree. It is not up to you. You can do nothing to make it happen. Just trust me. Follow me. Stay close to me.

Will you forfeit everything for me? (2020)

Matthew 13:28-30  “Should we pull out the weeds?”  They asked.  “No,” he replied, “you’ll uproot the wheat if you do. Let both grow together until the harvest. Then I will tell the harvesters to sort out the weeds, tie them into bundles, and burn them, and to put the wheat in the barn.”

There will always be evil amongst good. There will always be those who will not believe in me or follow me. That is inevitable. But, I know who is who. I will deal with everyone when the day comes. Just concentrate on your life. Be close to me. Obey me. Share me with others. I will deal with those who refuse.

1 Samuel: 17:47 “And everyone assembled here will know that the Lord rescues his people, but not with sword and spear. This is the Lord’s battle and he will give you to us!”

You are facing your Goliath. Your enemy is much bigger than you. It is much more deeply entrenched in this world than you. Your enemy does not fight fair. Your enemy is fighting for its life, and will fight to the death. It is intimidating to think of continuing to battle it. It is frightening how large and strong and seemingly tireless this enemy is. You are not equipped to fight that enemy on its terms. You are not strong enough, not well enough trained, not armed well enough, not numerous enough. But, you possess what they do not – me. I have given each of you gifts and skills that are to be used in this battle. I have gifted you with what you need to defeat this enemy. But, time is running short. You must enter the battle and engage with everything I have given you. Do not fear, you do not fight alone. Use your skills. Use your knowledge. I am by your side and will strengthen you and bring victory. And your enemy, those who are so happy to denounce me, to declare that I do not exist, to worship their gods instead of me, all of them will see. There is a God. I am He. And I do not abandon my people. (2020)

Ruth 2:3 “And as it happened, she found herself working in a field that belonged to Boaz,..” 

And as it happened. There is no “as it happened’. Any and everything that happens is either my plan or the allowance of another plan. But, even in the latter case, what I allow is to, over time, bring about my plan. Do not believe any of what is happening in your world is a surprise to me. Do not, either, believe that there is nothing I can or will do about it. But, just as Ruth went to the fields to gather grain – she did not sit home and wait for someone to bring food to her – just as Ruth took the initiative to wander out in what, to her, was a strange land, looking for food, so you must take the initiative to make life work. You must take a stand, you must work for what you believe is necessary. Do you have food, shelter, clothing? Yes. I have provided all of that and continue to do so. What do you lack? You lack action. You are a faithful child in a faithless world. I did not put you there by accident. I have not kept you, fed you, strengthened you, taught you for nothing. I have been preparing you for this moment since your birth. Will you stand up for me? Will you take a stand against the evil that is in your world, that is trying to overtake your people? What are you willing to risk? Some things? Most things? Everything? Step out and see what I can and will do. You have but seen a small sample of my power. Exodus. Crossing the Red Sea. It was frightening, yes. You are in the middle of that sea. Will you keep walking forward? Will you draw others with you? Tomorrow is key. Do not live in fear. Live in me. (2020)

Mark 5:1-17  They came to the other side of the sea, to the country of the Gerasenes. And when Jesus had stepped out of the boat, immediately there met him out of the tombs a man with an unclean spirit. He lived among the tombs. And no one could bind him anymore, not even with a chain, for he had often been bound with shackles and chains, but he wrenched the chains apart, and he broke the shackles in pieces. No one had the strength to subdue him. Night and day among the tombs and on the mountains he was always crying out and cutting himself with stones. And when he saw Jesus from afar, he ran and fell down before him. And crying out with a loud voice, he said, “What have you to do with me, Jesus, Son of the Most High God? I adjure you by God, do not torment me.” For he was saying to him, “Come out of the man, you unclean spirit!” And Jesus asked him, “What is your name?” He replied, “My name is Legion, for we are many.” And he begged him earnestly not to send them out of the country. Now a great herd of pigs was feeding there on the hillside, and they begged him, saying, “Send us to the pigs; let us enter them.” So he gave them permission. And the unclean spirits came out and entered the pigs; and the herd, numbering about two thousand, rushed down the steep bank into the sea and drowned in the sea. The herdsmen fled and told it in the city and in the country. And people came to see what it was that had happened. And they came to Jesus and saw the demon-possessed man, the one who had had the legion, sitting there, clothed and in his right mind, and they were afraid. And those who had seen it described to them what had happened to the demon-possessed man and to the pigs. And they began to beg Jesus to depart from their region.

Fear. How it controls you my children. The demon possessed man was so strong he could not be held, not even in heavy chains. People feared him. When I arrived, the demons feared me and begged me not to send them far away. The people of the area, especially the owners of the flocks of pigs that had run into the water and drowned, were afraid of me. So they begged me to leave. Fear. It is the strongest tool of your enemy. It is the most effective way to control you. To tear you apart as a society. To pit you against one another, and ultimately against me. Recognize it. Give it to me. Ask me to relieve you of any fear. Then allow me to do so. And walk on. Upright. In fellowship with one another. Lovingly trying to help all. That is what courage is. Not absence of fear, but walking forward while allowing me to take care of your fear. 

Psalm 37:39-40. The Lord rescues the godly; he is their fortress in times of trouble. The Lord helps them, rescuing them from the wicked. He saves them, and they find shelter in him. (2022)
