Deuteronomy 34:10-11 There has never been another prophet like Moses, whom the Lord knew face to face. The Lord sent him to perform all the miraculous signs and wonders in the land of Egypt against Pharaoh, and all his servants, and his entire land.

But Moses was not perfect. He did not want to be my spokesperson in Egypt. He tried to get out of it, and in the end, a compromise was reached and Aaron would speak for Moses. This was not ideal, but I did not give up on Moses because of this disobedience and lack of faith and trust. Moses did not always follow My instructions perfectly – yet he did do My will. He was not always able to control his emotions – especially his anger – and this got in the way, but only a bit. I did not allow any of his human tendencies and weaknesses to stop My plans and My saving of My people. Moses was a man who loved Me and a man whom I loved. I walked with him. He saw My face directly and did not die. I talked to him face to face. Yet, he was not perfect. He was not able to walk perfectly in obedience. That did not change My love for him nor My decision to have him lead My people. It did, however, come with a price. He did not receive the complete blessing I had promised him – he was not allowed to cross over into the promised land with the rest of My people. But, again, I did not love him less. When he died, I myself buried him. I laid him to rest in a place only I know, so that he would never be disturbed. I lovingly disposed of his earthly body and he came to be with Me in eternity. Do not miss, also, that before I took him home, I showed him every bit of the land I had promised. Though he was not allowed to enter into the land physically, he was able to experience it and enjoy it when I showed it to him. Why do I point this out? So that you do not fret, Child. I know you are not perfect, I know you struggle to obey completely, I know you have a hard time with your emotions at times – especially when you are being attacked and treated wrongly – but that does not change a bit how much I love you. I see your heart. I hear your cries. I know you love Me. I know you long to obey Me completely. I have not turned My eyes from you nor have I stopped listening to you. Just keep going forward. Do not allow your enemy to convince you that if you do not perfectly obey Me, if you do not keep in lockstep with Me, if you do not control your emotions and if you do not completely avoid all sin that I can not or will not continue to love and protect and walk with you. Nothing could be farther from the truth. I love you. Just as you are. Do not forget that I created you and I saw all of this before you were even in your mother’s womb. None of this surprises Me. None of this turns My heart away from you. 

Deuteronomy 30:11-14 “This command I am giving you today is not too difficult for you to understand, and it is not beyond your reach. It is not kept in heaven, so distant that you must ask, ‘Who will go up to heaven and bring it down so we can hear it and obey?’ It is not kept beyond the sea, so far away that you must ask, ‘Who will cross the sea and bring it to us so we can hear it and obey?’ No, the message is very close at hand; it is on your lips and in your heart so that you can obey it.”

It is simple. Not easy, but simple. Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind and with all your strength. And love your neighbor as yourself. That’s it. Stop complicating it. That’s the enemy getting into your head and distracting you. It’s simple. I AM. I am the One True God. I am the Alpha (beginning) and Omega (end). I am the  Creator of all. I am the Ruler over all. I alone am sovereign. I alone am perfect. I alone am omniscient (all-knowing). I alone am omnipresent (everywhere at once). I alone am omnipotent (all-powerful). The proof of that is all around you, if you will honestly seek. Stop complicating things. My children were created to worship. If you do not worship Me, you will worship someone or something else. Usually yourselves in one form or another. Many will argue that they cannot believe in or have faith in something/someone they cannot see. Then, in the same breath they would say they believe in gravity and would never just step off the rooftop of a twenty story building and expect to float. Can you see gravity? No. You see the result of its existence and its truth. You trust that the sun will rise and set daily. How can you trust that? Did you create them? Do you control them? You are selectively trusting. Generally, what you choose to trust is what benefits you. Generally, what you choose to believe in and trust does not challenge your self-sovereignty. So I ask you: How is not trusting in Me, not believing in Me, working out for you and your Nation? Because it does not look as if it is working. 

Deuteronomy 30:19-20 “Today I have given you the choice between life and death, between blessings and curses. Now I call on heaven and earth to witness the choice you make. Oh, that you would choose life, so that you and your descendants might live! You can make this choice by loving the Lord your God, obeying him, and committing yourself firmly to him. This is the key to your life.”

Nothing else matters. Nothing.

Deuteronomy 28:30-34 You will build a house, but someone else will live in it. You will plant a vineyard, but you will never enjoy its fruit. Your ox will be butchered before your eyes, but you will not eat a single bite of the meat. Your donkey will be taken from you, never to be returned. Your sheep and goats will be given to your enemies, and no one will be there to help you. You will watch as your sons and daughters are taken away as slaves. Your heart will break for them, but you won’t be able to help them. A foreign nation you have never heard about will eat the crops you worked so hard to grow. You will suffer under constant oppression and harsh treatment. You will go mad because of all the tragedy you see around you.

Do you not see that these things have already begun? Do you not see foreign powers given too much authority over your Nation? Do you not see that the courts do not protect you and your rights? Squatters take over people’s homes, sell their belongings and the police and courts tell the rightful owners that there is nothing they can do. Foreign entities are buying up farmland all over your Nation. Powerful groups of foreign nationals are trying to take over your medical care system. Rich individuals with no medical training are dictating how you live, what medical treatments you are required to undergo. Private industries are monitoring your every word, stifling your free speech, dictating what is real and false information. Your own government taxes every single thing you do so that your earnings are in great part taken by them, keeping you in bondage to their laws and regulations. New laws are restricting your ability to grow healthy food and to raise livestock. If you do not believe you have already been sold into slavery, you are not seeing reality. Violence is everywhere in your Nation. You are under attack by foreigners invading your borders without restraint. Cancers and heart issues are decimating your population. Athletes are dropping dead. Tragedy is everywhere – people burying their beloved, families losing their livelihoods and homes, murders and rapes and violent attacks, marauding gangs of thieves sweeping through stores and taking whatever they want without any attempt to stop them. This is your world. Why? Simple – you removed Me from it. The human heart is wicked above all things. No matter how “evolved” you think you are, it never works without Me. Man’s experiment at self-regulation is failing, and will always fail. Will your people repent and return to Me? I am here.

Deuteronomy 28:28-29 The Lord will strike you with madness, blindness, and panic. You will grope around in broad daylight like a blind person groping in the darkness, but you will not find your way. You will be oppressed and robbed continually, and no one will come to save you.

Does this not resemble your world today? Your Nation? You do not understand how those around you can be so blind to what is happening. You do not understand how so many have been captured by emotional madness – frothing and screaming and fighting against rhetoric and false ideas.  You do not understand how your Nation has completely lost its bearing – lost all sense of right and wrong, all semblance of objective truth, all ability to engage in critical thinking….. Do you not see that your disobedience – your abandonment of Me and My Word, My Truth, My laws and regulations – that having abandoned all of that, you have abandoned truth, reality, the ability to think critically and objectively – and in so doing you have been captured by your enemy, the father of lies? Do you not see that you have adopted man-made gods (much like the Israelites did time and time again) and you have walked out from under my protection? Do you not see that I have given you what you have been seeking? You own “gods”, your own way in all things, personal pleasure, self-regulation and self-rule? And do you now understand how an entire Nation – an entire civilization – an entire world can self-destruct? Simple: by taking over every aspect of life and trying to do it all on your own…. Repent, and return to Me. That is the only hope for your Nation, for your world. I am still here. But you are running out of time. Your enemy is deeply entrenched and so many of your people are under the spell of his lies. 

Deuteronomy 26:12 “Every third year you must offer a special tithe of our crops. In this year of the special tithe you must give your tithes to the Levites, foreigners, orphans, and widows, so that they will have enough to eat in your towns.”

This is what I would have my children do – take care of each other. It was never my intention for you to allow your government to take care of those who cannot care for themselves. It was always your job. Every third year, my children would tithe of their crops in a special offering for those who were not able to care for themselves. Every year was the “third year” for someone. So there was always an offering to help those who were in need. Why do you not care for each other anymore? Is it not what I have commanded you to do? If you have land and you grow crops, share them. Remember, I always told those who were growing crops to leave what fell on the ground during harvest for gleaning by those in need. I always had them leave some fruit on the trees for those in need. I bless you so that you may bless others. It is time for my children to get back to this. It is time for my children to care for one another, and keep the government out of it. Feed, clothe and help those who cannot help themselves. As important as this has always been, it is becoming more and more vital due to the evil that is harming your fellows. Have I not always provided for you? I will continue to do so, and more, to allow you to help others. Open your heart, and I will guide you. You are surrounded by hurting people who need physical, emotional and especially spiritual sustenance. You have the ability to provide those. Will you? 

Deuteronomy 4:7 For what great nation has a god as near to them as the Lord our God is near to us whenever we call on him?  

Do not lose that, Child. Do not forget who I AM. I am near to you. I am right with you whenever you call on My Name. Whatever the circumstances in your life, whatever the events that are unfolding, I have not moved. I am where I have always been, with you. I hear you. Always. No matter how inaudible your cry to me. No matter how weak your will. No matter how defeated you feel. No matter how injured you may be. No matter…… nothing matters in that regard. I hear you. I will be with you just as I am right this moment and have always been throughout your life. I know this is a difficult concept to understand and accept, but I do not change. I do not move. I do not leave. I am permanent, fixed, eternally the same. I AM. Your world is temporal, changeable, fickle, unstable. I am none of those things. So, trust, Child. Faith, Child – remembering that faith happens in spite of not seeing, not touching, not experiencing immediately. It is a leap…into the unknown for you but into what is already known to Me. Trust Me. I’m already in your future and I have arranged it to be what it will be. And remember, underlying all of this, is this fact: I love you with an eternal, unchanging love. 

Deuteronomy 1:2-3 Normally it only takes eleven days to travel from Mount Sinai to Kadesh-barnea, going by way of Mount Seir. But forty years after the Israelites left Egypt, on the first day of the eleventh month, Moses addressed the people of Israel, telling them everything the Lord had commanded him to say.

You wonder why it is taking Me so long to resolve your issues. You want Me to move more quickly, on your timeline. Child, think of what the Israelites must have endured. Forty years wandering in the desert, to arrive at a point that should have only taken them eleven days to reach. Forty years. Yes, it has been a long period of suffering, of waiting, of having to practice patience, trust and belief that I would deliver. But did I not promise you in My Word that I would never leave you nor forsake you? Have I not promised that I would protect you, that I would redeem you, that I would bring beauty for ashes? And have I not fulfilled those promises numerous times in your life? Why do you fret so? Why do you forget so easily? I have not changed. Your circumstances change. Your life goes through seasons. People do evil things. Life is not fair. All of these things are true. Yet, I am. I AM. Breathe, child. Breathe in my Spirit. Breathe in My Life. Breathe in My Love. Breathe in My Promises. I AM. If I had walked the Israelites straight through to the Promised Land, they would not have been ready to step into the life I had planned for them. Their faith was not strong enough, despite seeing the miracles I provided before they left Egypt. Their stubborn hearts were not submitted to Me sufficiently, despite all the times I protected them and delivered them from enemies much more well equipped in battle. They were not ready for their new lives. And so with you. You will be delivered from this mess when you are ready to step into the new life I am preparing for you. Will you submit? Will you continue to trust Me? Will you allow Me to prepare your heart and mind and soul for this new season I am bringing into your life? So many times you believe that it is all dependent upon Me. Not true. Much hinges upon you. Upon your attitudes. Upon your submission. Upon your ability to wait, to trust, to allow Me to do what is necessary for you to do what will follow. Rest, Child. My “inactivity” is anything but inactive. And My seeming lack of activity in no way means that I am displeased with or punishing or ignoring you. I am doing what needs done. Will you do the same? 

 Luke 1:45 “You are blessed because you believed that the Lord would do what He said.”

And so. You are blessed when you believe Me.  You are blessed when you trust Me. You are blessed when you do not allow doubt and discouragement or the words of the enemy to take you even an inch away from My side. You are blessed by Me, but it is your faith and trust that activate it all. Trust Me, Child. Have faith in Me, Child. Remember. Always remember that your enemy prowls around seeking any way he can to destroy your faith, your trust, your relationship with Me. Be on your guard at all times. As you well know, the battles are increasing. Eyes on Me. Ears attentive to My voice. Flee anything not of Me. Be especially on guard when you are tired or hungry or emotional. Those are your areas of greatest vulnerability and the times when your enemy can have the most impact on you. Stay close to My side. With Me, you are not vulnerable to any attack. Make My Name the first thing you utter when you feel vulnerable or know your enemy is close. My Name. The Name above all names.

 Numbers 21:3-5  The Lord heard the Israelites request and gave them victory over the Canaanites. The Israelites completely destroyed them and their towns, and the place has been called Hormah ever since. Then the people of Israel set out from Mount Hor, taking the road to the Red Sea to go around the land of Edom. But the people grew impatient with the long journey, and they began to speak against God and Moses. 

Ah, this is so like you, my Child. How quickly you forget. The Israelites had been delivered from severe abuse and slavery in Egypt. Through miracle after miracle, I provided the groundwork not only for their freedom, but for the Egyptians to hand over their wealth. I provided light for the journey. I provided food and water. I provided protection from their enemies, from drowning Pharaoh’s warriors to handing over entire towns as I did here. And, for an instant, my Children were grateful. But, soon, so very soon, they fell back into complaints and displeasure. So much so that they complained of ever being freed from Egypt. And so you. You focus on what is immediate. You focus on what is physically present. You focus on your comfort, your wellbeing, your safety and you relapse into fear. And that takes your focus away from Me. Have I not always protected you? Have I not always provided? Have I not promised to never leave you nor forsake you? You must make the effort to remember what I have done. You must make the effort to focus on what My Word says, what I have told you, what I have been for you. You must take the time to seek My face. You must make time to be in a real relationship with Me. Otherwise, you will spend most of your time in fear and discouragement and unhappiness and dis-ease. That is not what I have for you. So choose. I have not moved. I have not changed my mind. I have not lied about what I have for you. I AM. I am stationary. I am reliable. I am true to My Word. I am steadfast. I am holy and perfect and like nothing you know in your world. And you, as a temporal being, must make the effort to remain in faith and trust and the knowledge the I AM.

Numbers 2:1-2 Then the Lord gave these instructions to Moses and Aaron: “When the Israelites set up camp, each tribe will be assigned its own area. The tribal divisions will camp beneath their family banners on all four sides of the Tabernacle, but at some distance from it.”

My instructions to the Israelites were clear in how they were to camp around the Tabernacle. They were to assemble by tribes in specific places surrounding the Tabernacle. In this way, they were always within sight of My home among them, and were always protecting it from any harm. So it is to be in your life. Do you not see that you need to tuck Me into a safe, always protected place in your heart and mind? Do you not see that I am what is most easily lost to the attacks of the enemy? Not Me, but your connection to Me? That you are always to protect your relationship with Me above all else? Once that is lost, you are lost. Once that is severed, you are unprotected and vulnerable to any and all attacks by your enemy. Your enemy seeks to distract you, to take you off course, to keep you off balance. All of that is possible when you do not protect and nourish your relationship with Me. That is the most important thing you can do on a daily basis, at all times. Do not forget who protects you, who guides you, who provides for you. It is not I? I am the source of all that is good and healthy and life-giving – in all aspects – your physical life, your emotional life, your spiritual life. I Am. Stay close to Me. Seek My face. Seek My guidance. Ask for My wisdom. I will provide, just don’t let your enemy distract you from what is most important – what is vital – My presence in your life, your relationship with Me.
